1981 Voice Interest Session I
1981 CALLERLAB Convention, Kansas City, MO VOICE INTEREST SESSION PART I This year we have a special guest V0ICE instructor by the name of Arden Hopkin. He is a Professor of Voice at Texas Christian University (TCU). Arden has conducted caller clinics in the North Texas area for various caller associations and does an excellent job. Since, as callers, our voice is our most valued possession, we felt it a great opportunity to bring in an outside expert to share his knowledge with us. Arden will be conducting three sessions for us. This first one is designed to discuss the theoretical aspects of the uses of the voice. During the other sessions he will be asking for volunteers to use the mic and he will offer critiques. This session will be taped.
1981 Voice Session III
1981 CALLERLAB Convention, Kansas City, MO VOICE INTEREST SESSION PART III VOICE Continued with Arden Hopkin The third and final session with our guest professor from TCU. This session will also feature volunteer callers who desire to be critiqued on the use of their voices, breathing techniques and other voice techniques. This session will also be taped to provide continued help in this area after the convention terminates and you go back to your home clubs.

1982 CALLERLAB Convention, Reno, NV Voice Session 1 Following the opening session, we will have a short coffee break and we ask that you all return to the Broadway Ballroom so that we may start the group session on VOICE promptly at 10:30 a.m. Arden Hopkin will again be our guest speaker. Arden, as you (may recall, did an outstanding job for us last year and he is back by popular request). This year we are scheduling Arden so that everyone will get to hear him at least once with this key session on Monday morning. He will also have two additional sessions that will be scheduled against several committee meetings. The VOICE session will be the only event scheduled at this time (10:30 a.m.)
1982 Voice Session 2
1982 CALLERLAB Convention, Reno, NV Voice Session 2 The second of three sessions by Arden Hopkin will be conducted in the BROADWAY BALLROOM and will be taped. Arden will be seeking volunteers to illustrate selected points of voice coaching. If you are interested, please sign up with the moderator. He generally has the caller do the opener of a singing call. Arden will then make some general comments and offer a suggestion or two on how the delivery could be improved. He then will have the caller repeat the same portion of the call. We would suggest that if you were critiqued last year, you allow others to benefit from the experience. This will be another fun session in which you will see a pro at work.
