Tony Parkes takes us on a fantastic tour of the history of square dancing, from the Court and Country Dances of Europe, the blending of African roots and American Black slave culture, through the Henry Ford, Benjamin Lovett and Pappy Shaw revival, into Modern Western Square Dancing.
