Tracy is a Square Dance Caller who, during the late 1980’s, had the forethought to purchase record companies which had been producing professional instrumental and vocal recordings on vinyl for use by: Square Dance Callers, Round Dance Cuers, Contra Prompters, Clogging Cuers & Record Clubs. Many of these producers had been operating for many decades, but were now winding down their operations and appeared as though some could fade from existence and be lost forever. Over the following years, Tracy continued rescuing additional record labels.
With the gradual migration to digital formats in the late 1990's many of the recordings on these old labels became unavailable in any format and Tracy took on the task of converting old analog master tapes to digital formats that could be released and used in the evolving world.
Today the site includes dozens of famous old labels such as Grenn, 4-Bar-B, Black Hat, Cross Country, GMP, Mustang, Ozark, Quadrille, and many others. It also points to many currently active labels such as Knee-Deep, Tarheel, and TNT.
